Early Life
I grew up in a small town in Arkansas where as a middle school student, I filmed, edited and produced a full length skateboard video. I burned DVDs, designed graphics and printed labels for 100’s of copies. I made a trailer to promote it and used school email to blast it out to every student and teacher. I used the printers to make flyers and posters. Not surprisingly, my computer lab privileges and school email were revoked. It was worth it. Not only was my skate video a huge success, but at only 13 years old, I had created a media empire and my first mass marketing campaign.

Education
As a high school student, I enrolled in photography, video production and broadcasting courses. Not only did this support the production of many more skate videos, it planted the seed for what would turn into my passion for marketing and design. I attended Colorado State University where I majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree and graduated with honors.

Family
My wife and I met as high-school students when we first began dating. We even went to our high-school prom together. Our marriage came as no surprise to people who knew us and we of course welcomed a dog into our lives soon after. Following both of our college graduations and some extended travel, we moved to Denver together started our family. We now have two children and the same dog. Although we came from different places, we are now happy to share Colorado as home with many of our immediate and extended family members.

Travel
I’ve had the opportunity to travel extensively, which has given me a broad perspective and valuable experiences. I was still a teenager when my travel addiction began. Since then, I have visited 26 different countries and counting. The two most notable travel experiences in my life were spending 7 months backpacking in South America and then following my graduation form college spending 11 months backpacking in Asia. Some of my favorite places I have been are Cuba, Japan, The Philippines, and Mexico.

Experience
I have extensive experience as an independent web designer and marketing consultant, complemented by the practical knowledge I gained from working with various startups, including my own food truck venture with my wife. My career in tech began with video production for an electronics manufacturing startup, which provided valuable exposure to the industry. I later transitioned to a role as a Digital Marketing Specialist at a large software company, where I leveraged my marketing education and collaborated closely with engineers and developers. For the past four years, I have served as the SEO Manager at a large marketing agency. My key focus these days remains on search engine optimization and website design. I have recently begun taking on local business clients of my own to assist with their online presence and marketing.
